Terms of Service in Portland, OR

Last Updated: 10/26/2026

What General Pest Control Covers

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply to General Pest Control services Oregon Pest Solutions agrees to perform at the property listed in your service confirmation. Depending on the approved plan, work may include inspecting accessible areas, identifying common pest activity, applying appropriate treatments, and providing practical prevention advice.

Your written estimate or service confirmation sets the pests, locations, and tasks included. Termite work, wildlife removal, structural repairs, major sanitation, and other specialized work require a separate agreement.

We do not promise to eliminate pests that are outside the agreed scope or enter from untreated areas.

Pesticide work will follow applicable Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 634 and Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 603, Division 57. Products must be used according to their EPA-approved labels and applicable FIFRA requirements.

We retain pesticide application details as required. Containers and pesticide waste must be handled under label directions and applicable Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Oregon Department of Agriculture rules. Oregon Health Authority and Oregon OSHA requirements apply where relevant.

Booking, Changing, or Canceling a Visit

Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Oregon Pest Solutions. We will provide the scheduled date or arrival window and any preparation instructions we have for the agreed service. Please make sure an adult can provide access when needed, secure pets, and tell us about relevant site conditions or safety concerns before work begins.

Contact us as soon as possible to cancel or request a different time. Any cancellation deadline or fee applies only if it was disclosed and accepted when the appointment was booked.

We may need to reschedule because of weather, unsafe conditions, access problems, or operational issues; we will contact you to arrange another time. If inspection shows that the requested work differs from the approved scope, we will explain the change and any effect on the estimate.

We will not perform additional chargeable work without your approval. A new date or scope is confirmed when both sides agree to it.

How Estimates and Bills Are Handled

Before work begins, Oregon Pest Solutions will describe the proposed General Pest Control tasks and provide an estimate or other written pricing information when applicable. An estimate is based on the information available at the time; inspection findings, access limitations, or a requested change may affect the work needed. We will explain any revised amount and obtain your approval before doing work outside the accepted scope.

Payment is due according to the invoice or service confirmation provided for your job. That document will identify the amount due and any stated payment timing or accepted payment methods.

If the paperwork does not state a different due date, please contact us promptly to confirm payment arrangements. You are responsible for charges for work you approved and that we performed.

Disputed charges should be raised with us as soon as possible, with the invoice and details of the concern, so we can review them. No prices, financing terms, or additional fees are created by this section; any applicable charge must be disclosed in the job documents or otherwise agreed.

What We Can Promise About Service Results

Pest activity can depend on the pest type, building conditions, sanitation, weather, and access to treatment areas. For that reason, Oregon Pest Solutions does not make a general promise that every pest will be eliminated or that activity will not return.

Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only when its terms are provided to you in writing for the specific service. Check your estimate or service confirmation for any stated duration, covered pest, follow-up requirements, and limits.

If you believe the work was not completed as agreed, contact us and describe the issue. We will review the service record and the written terms that apply.

Coverage may not apply where no written commitment exists, or where the issue involves pests or areas outside the agreed scope, changed site conditions, denied access, or failure to follow written preparation or prevention instructions. Nothing in this section changes rights that cannot legally be waived. Please do not assume that a follow-up visit is included unless your written service terms say so.

Service Expert at Oregon Pest Solutions

I started in pest control in Portland, where wet winters and older homes with crawlspaces taught me to look for how pests are getting in, not just where they appear. I built this company to give Oregon homeowners clear treatment plans that account for local conditions and the care pesticide work requires.

Responsibility for Service-Related Losses

To the extent Oregon law allows, Oregon Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, building defects, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. These limits do not apply where the law prohibits limiting responsibility, including for obligations that cannot be waived by contract.

We will perform pesticide work consistent with applicable Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 634, Oregon Administrative Rules Chapter 603, Division 57, EPA label directions, and FIFRA requirements. Required applicator records will be retained.

Pesticide containers and waste must be managed according to product labels and applicable Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Oregon Department of Agriculture rules. Nothing here excuses a party from complying with those requirements or prevents legally required reporting.

Please notify us promptly about a service-related concern so we can review the work details and any relevant records.
